Winwin has officially ended his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, bringing his decade-long journey with the company to a close. The agency confirmed that both sides mutually agreed to conclude their contract effective July 9, 2026, marking the end of all of his activities as an NCT member.

SM Entertainment thanked Winwin for the many years they spent together, from his trainee days through his career as an artist, and expressed support for his future endeavors as he begins a new chapter.

Winwin debuted with NCT 127 in 2016 before expanding his activities through NCT U and WayV, becoming known for his versatility across multiple NCT units. His most recent official Korean release was WayV's second full-length album, "On My Youth," released in November 2023.
