BABYMONSTER has officially made their comeback with the release of their third mini album CHOOM, unveiled at 6 PM on May 4 through YG Entertainment.
Centered around the concept of movement and rhythm, the album reflects the group’s ambition to connect with audiences worldwide through music that encourages participation and energy. The title track “CHOOM” leads a four-song lineup that spans hip-hop, dance, and R&B influences, offering a broader sonic palette compared to their previous releases.
Members expressed excitement about returning to fans, emphasizing that the new project showcases a different side of their artistry. The title track, in particular, focuses on dynamic beats and an engaging chorus designed to leave a strong impression, while the album as a whole balances intensity with more melodic moments.
Looking ahead, BABYMONSTER is preparing to expand their global presence with a second world tour kicking off in Seoul later this month. The tour will continue across multiple regions, including Asia, Oceania, Europe, and the Americas, with the group aiming to elevate their live performances based on experience gained from previous stages.
